
Scott Murphy serves as the Vice President of Operations at Chesapeake Systems, where he oversees the management of all company offices, ensuring efficient, cost-effective operations while maintaining the highest quality standards. He leads the Field Product Support teams across all facilities, focusing on timely and cost-conscious delivery of products and services. Scott also plays a critical role in inventory management, continuously refining processes and controls to efficiently manage and move inventory. As an in-house expert on Great Plains (GP) and SalesPad, he provides essential training to Chesapeake Team Members, ensuring seamless operations and system integration.
With 28 years of industry experience, Scott brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to his role. His career began in the electrical wholesale industry at Graybar Electric in Houston, Texas, where he spent four years advancing through roles in counter sales, inside sales, and outside sales. He then spent a decade at HD Supply as Quotations Manager, honing his skills in operational efficiency and client service.
Since joining Chesapeake Systems in 2011, Scott has been instrumental in driving operational excellence and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. His dedication to streamlining processes and supporting Team Member development directly contributes to Chesapeake Systems’ commitment to delivering reliable and efficient HVAC/Mechanical solutions throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
